Lags because of Add-Ons?

Can it be that the game run slower and worse with add-ons than without any add-ons?
usually the game never had any lags, but after I loaded some new add-ons the game get stuck sometimes, I already deleted some stuff, but it's still lagging :/

It depends on the addon. If you are adding commons for example or something like that, yes they will slow the game down. Just having addons and not using them in the game will not slow it down unless Workshop is downloading when you are playing.

Mods in the game may slow it down (graphical mods, server mods in single player, etc), but just having mods in your addons folders shouldn't effect any lag, regardless of how many.
