Custom Talker/Radial Menu Help?
First time posting one of these so sorry if I muck it up. Anyways buckle up 'cause this is a long one.

For awhile now I've been trying to make custom Radial Menus.. I've also been trying to restore cut audio (For example; restore cut Survivor laughter) for said radial menus - which obviously means editing the Talker file (or at least making an addon copy of it).

Now I've looked pretty much everywhere on the internet for any sort of in-depth tutorial because I've SEEN people restore audio, make really elaborate custom Radials, and yet I can never find a tutorial for them, only basic stuff. Sure I can make a custom radial with like, PlayerRun or PlayerLostCall because those are already in the appropriate places within the talker, but I can't make them do PlayerBackup, or say, trigger a set of lines (or even one) line from campaigns (example; radial menu that lets Ellis say 'I love you' whenever you select it, despite it being an opening-scene only line)

Idk I don't feel like im explaining this correctly. Basically, my problem is that I've tried everything I could find to make a custom radial, or even just restore audio; I've tried simply adding them to the radial menu (only half successful like I said), I've tried editing the talker (making it an addon vpk), but nothings worked other than the basic sort of lines I've already mentioned, and definitely not cut lines, even if I restore them to the talker.

For instance, here's an example of me trying to restore Ellis' cut laughter (+one campaign specific laugh) back into his vanilla radial Laughter menu;

}

I then put the edited mechanic.txt into Talker-->Scripts-->mechanic.txt and made a vpk of it, put that vpk in addons, and... nothing. No restored laughter, even though I've seen other people do it, and I even looked at another edited Talker file and tried to do what they did? There are no conflicting audio mods either, and I left the vanilla talker/mechanic files alone.

So I guess the long and short of it is; What the hell am I doing wrong? I've tried everything and I'm really at my wits end with this. Sorry this was so long, thank you if you read it.
