New to Left 4 Dead 2 Gamers HELP - finding servers
In case to those who are new to Left 4 Dead 2, first thing first : enable "Developer Console"

This can be done by:
Options menu (go to "Keyboard/Mouse", then Enable the "Allow Developer Console" option) and then displayed by pressing the tilde (~) key in game.

After (~), type in openserverbrowser and a box will come out OR you may try getting this:

Select "custom" tab. A list of Dedicated Servers will display. Click the "latency" button and the lowest latency is ideal for you. Which mean GREEN PINGS. From there, you can join games easily.

Hoped this help~

Wow, this is pretty helpful. I was wondering if you could manually join a server. Thanks!

There's an add-on that adds the server browser to the main menu too.

Hmm. I thought that Steam added that to the main menu. Guess it was a mod that I downloaded? Only menu type mod I'm running is the one that addes Co-op versus, and a whole load of other options. Guess it's in that mod, too.
