Anyone have their soundtrack gone?

I've been playing with my friends for a while now, I have l4d2 for a year or so and I already have some hours of gameplay, my friends not. The thing is that the whole server is not hearing any kind of music: tank music, safehouse tone and just some intense music during action scenes. This is NOT a client side probme I repeat, and everything was fine when I used to play alone or with other friends some time ago.
