Oh, and, I don't want to disappoint you, but L4D3 is not going to happen because Valve doesn't know number 3.
Lol, the NSA does not just spy on Americans my friend. They are already aware that you're wearing your favorite polka-dot thong.
I'm not sure If I should but right now I am slighly scared...
Don't sound so certain, it's Valve we're talking about.
throughout the post development of l4d2 I watched as there were regular meaningful
patches and content expansion. they stated that they were going
to try and add some content and with more sales they would be more motivated to
add more content... the game sold well, they added good content... the game kept selling
very nicely, they kept adding content... ultimately someone who missed out on l4d1
and jumped into l4d2 is getting both games for the price of l4d2 (probably on sale)
they worked on all sorts of user tools to generate their own content post sale
as well as porting the client and server to linux. (server first).
I expect valve to do as they did when they were working on l4d2... underpromis
and overdeliver... respect for that.
in a time where "reuptable" top earning game companies are utterly fleecing markets
with shoddy, lazy workmanship I'm pleased to have gotten such good value and quality from l4d2. It makes me trust the team responsible to deliver in the future.
