So I just go back to L4D from a one year or so absence. L4D2 seems a bit balanced out more. What bothers me though is that the community nowadays seems to include this die hard club of rushers.
From start to finish they just run, in fact they you can't say they even "play" the game. They'll walk right passed pipe bombs, ammo or any gear and kick you if you don't. If you go down, if they even bother to pick you up, they won't let you heal so you'll be limping. You'll inevitably lag behind and get kicked again. If you e.g. point out that there some molotovs lying about they'll rage on voicechat (in German), with poor quality mics and lots of background noise. They're not even good, as they practically always die as soon as they have to slow down when for example a Tank appears. They will offcourse blame this on non-rushers, and rage some more on voicechat.
Seriously, what's the fun with these guys? The last time I played this game, teamplay was valued. Yeah, you had to keep up, but people also understood you couldn't always and you needed to support eachother. When Valve made L4D2 they added new guns, because that was what most people wanted. What's the point if you're barely gonna use them?
