Is it Just Me?
Is there an influx of people who don't listen or just me? It's kinda infuriating. I know it's a game and whatnot, but don't do ♥♥♥♥ that is obviously gonna make the team lose...

Sorry...Just a little rant.

Maybe your advice was bad.

Maybe they were bad.

Maybe people don't speak the same language.

Maybe you mumble.

Maybe people have sound/voice turned off.

Maybe your voice is turned off.

If that was the case I would understand, but in my case none of these things where a factor. All spoke english and both my mic and I are very clear.

Seriously? When I play realism expert, I just wanna get from point A to point B without having to worry about some random person who goes off alone or a griefer. I understand its a game but if you wanna fool around get a group of friends to do that with. Don't just join random games and mess everyone up.

Some people join random games for the sole purpose of messing eveyone up. They are probably people who have been kicked from games so many times because they lack the intelligence to learn how to play properly so now they don't even bother trying to play but rather they have decided that from now on, they are just going to ruin games for others.

Reminds me of a game I was in. 3 people were knocked down by the tank, a hoard came along, so now I had to try to kill the damned tank, keep a damn hunter from pouncing me while i was getting surrounded by a horde. One of the people knocked down was screaming "COME HELP ME UP! HELP ME UP! IM RIGHT BEHIND YOU! HELP ME UP YOU ♥♥♥♥ING NOOB!!!! YOU ♥♥♥♥ING SUCK!!". If I had tried to help them up before I had taken care of the little tank, hunter, horde issue, I would've been knocked down too.

Thankfully my teammates kicked him off, but, giving orders is a tad annoying during something like that. But in that dudes head, it was probably completely justified to yell at me like that.

Unfortunately giving good advice to the rest of the team and actually having someone willing to listen to it are two different things. Some people just ignore good advice, and others don't understand what we say (ex. foreigners).

It's how it is really. And this is something that happens in every online game, not just L4D2.

It's just sad people lack common sense, but it comes with the territory. Super try-hards that can't play and belittles their teammates.

Some people (like me) don't care about the teamplay and just wanna kill zombiesss!!!

Well sometimes I can't follow the advice given right away. On one finale, the guy kept typing "spit on the cans"...which ones? And I would miss once or twice & kept coming back as the spitter with this thankless task. After we lose, he gets upset & rage quits. There are probably a lot of fairly new people playing this game & they don't know all the ins & outs yet. So my advice to you: rage quit.

Well VS and Scavenge is a whole different topic to begin with. I get that you just wanna kill zombies but all I'm saying is, don't join a random realism game and go all Rambo. You won't get anywhere without a little help.

I assume you are referring to the finale of Dead Center. When the survivors are collecting the cans and throwing them down from the upper floors, they will change to a glowing orange colour. The spitter can spit on these cans which will set them on fire. Then the cans respawn back where they were originally causing the survivors to have to go and get them again.

Setting the cans on fire is the primary role of the spitter in the finale of Dead Center.

Makes sense. Just not sure how he expects the scrubs to know that.

Everytime I play Dead Center on Versus and we get to the finale, I will always remind my team of using the Spitter to ignite the gas cans. I agree that this guy should have shown a little more patience and explained it better but what can you do? Some people just forget how it was when they first started playing.

Unfortunately expert realism attracts the most Rambo players, especially the ones who can't pull it off successfully.

Those people should play a different game or single player. This is a team based game, and people who refuse to play with the team have no place playing online.
