Zoom with ALL WEAPONS
Here I'm asking the L4d2 creators to make an update to l4d2. And make that all we can make zoom with all weapons, like Ak 47, M16, pistols, Magnum...
This will make this game the best, I'm sure.

No, it will never happen, if you want added accuracy crouch. But this is generally a run and gun game.

It will never happend, and it is not called zoom, its called aim down the sight.

I made a script for L4D1 that zoomed you just like with a sniper rifle.
Doesn't work in L4D2 though, and even then you need another addon to use it in L4D1.

It works for SI too.
Not even very good, and it's barely useful for other guns, you'd have to individualize the script for your mouse sensitivity.
Most of the people playing L4D don't even know their sensitivity, much less their lerp or all the other values that have to be changed.
Source games do not have this, Don't ask for it

I hope HL3 comes with iron sights standard on all weapons, then it's likely all Valve titles released on that new source engine would have it too. It's going to be 2017 by the time it's released FFS, they should get with the times already.

They've done it before, in DoD:S with the Garand/Kar98k, but the thing is, Valve has done just fine without zoom/ADS. Their games simply do not need it.

That being said, I would appreciate ADS purely as a cosmetic feature in a Source 2 game.

Razer Hydra or good old crosshair aiming. Who needs viewmodels?

And i'm asking you politely to quit this game. If after 300h you still didn't understand the gameplay of l4d, you should think to uninstall it.

From what I understand of stereoscopic gaming, a crosshair isn't ideal. I guess it doesn't function properly with two fields of view. So you're left with laser sights to paint your target or good old iron sights. And I don't have a Rift yet, but I was talking Source 2 so I assume Rift would be released and would be standard in future Valve titles.

I get the feeling the Rift is going to shake up a lot of gaming conventions. We'll just have to see how.
