Got kicked out while playing
Last week I played L4D2 the first time. When I was playing a server, I got kicked while playing. Did I do something wrong or am I terrible? All I wanted to do is play a multiplayer. :(
P.S. Sorry about my computer. It's not fast enough to play.

If you joined versus the kick had a reason.

If you were above normal in the campaign the kick had a reason

If you don't mind the chaos from 10vs10 servers then here are two servers you can join, they're nearly always full.

78.47.65.158:27015
80.244.253.95:28015

You will rarely get kicked even if you're new, just don't do silly things like teamkill on purpose/afk in safe house and you'll be fine.

Also i think one has antirush.

Some servers (such as the PW Worlds) are hosted in different countries and I can still play on it, despite 200+ ping. It's not that laggy either, at least for PW worlds.

And don't worry about getting kicked. At least don't take it personal. I have a video on my profile of me getting kicked. Sometimes people kick right away as soon as I join a game, probably because they had a friend coming, but didn't inform the person joining that they had a 4th lined up. Other people can be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s at times, but it's fun to rejoin the game on the other team and kick their butts to prove you're better than they are.

Community sucks. If your not perfect, or screw up once, you might get kicked. Not every server is like this though, some are decent. But if a team isn't winning, they always have to drop someone, welcome to L4D2.

People get kicked for no reason in this game, I would not read too much into it.

People kick for no reason in this game. Whatever purpose it had before was reduced to ashes. Idiots with friends run the kick system now

If you were playing in Versus, you probably got kicked because you have less than 20 hours game time. People will check the hours of other players and anyone with under a couple hundred hours will usually get kicked. All depends on what kind of game is being played. If everyone is just there for fun, you don't see a lot of kicking but if the game is full of hardcore players, the kick vote will be coming up quite often. Kicking is not so bad in the campaign games.
