Entirely too much Left 4 Dead 2...

So because I play both on Windows and Linux, I now have 3 copies of Left 4 Dead 2 in my Library. Quite honestly, this is 2 too many. If the Linux version is no longer in beta, let's fix that issue. There is no reason I should have Left 4 Dead 2 (Beta) and Left 4 Dead 2 Beta in my list when I'm on Linux. It should say Left 4 Dead 2 on both Windows and Linux. Please and thank you.

The actual beta is still available, but in Linux regular L4D2 is marked as beta. It's basically the same as the one you have in Windows, I guess adding on a "beta" tag means they're not responsible for any issues.

I agree. if it's not beta then don't say beta. Seems simple enough. In addition the L4D2 page only shows requirements for PC and MAC...NOT Linux. I thought I checked before buying but it's running slow on My hardware..."guessing" it's the video card.

There's still some Linux based issues with the game. It stutters a little on my machine too, but runs fine on Windows 7. It looks like they finally killed one of the "betas" in the list though. I no longer see "Left 4 Dead 2 (Beta)" in Windows, which is promising. FYI, if you download the beta version while playing on Windows, you can cross-play with Linux distros. I don't know if OSX is included though.
