Main Menu issues making game now unplayable

I'm having an annoying issues with the main menu. Everything moves on its own. It's not my mouse of keyboard since I unplugged both to see if it would fix it, but it didn't and the main menu still moves by itself. In-game is fine though, but that was until I decided to go to the opotions menu to change my sensitivity, and since the main menu has a mind of it's own then so does the options menu and because of that it completely manipulated my controls without me doing anything. I've tried restarting Steam and my PC, but nothing seems to work. Anyone know the issue or how to fix it?

Over-sensitive mousewheel? Could be the driver settings. I have had problems with my mouse if its set too high and the tiniest movements affect menu screens.

Don't think that's what it is. I unplugged the mouse and it still does it. Was fine yesterday morning, but after I got back from work at night it suddendly started doing it.

I have this problem since today.. since the last update, I play L4D2 everyday.. so I'm sure this was caused by the last update

Seriously Valve stop breaking the game with "updates"
