9 out of my last 10 games I have started this thing happens:

1. Log in
2. Notice server full of russians (which is fine to me really)
3. Play for like 5-10 minutes
4. Get votekicked


Anyone care to explain?

Maybe when they realize that you can't speak Russian, they kick you because they won't be able to communicate with you and co-ordinate the attacks properly?

There was nothing co-ordinated in their attacks....

I mean yeah, could be, but it still a bummer that when I want to play (normal/versus) and just choose Quickmatch I'll get to a server where I will be kicked out right away.

There is easy solution to this, and that is to start your own game, or to go browse the servers list. To me, I feel the quickmatch option is broken.

And could be I have just had really bad luck with my games recently, and most of the players are not getting the same kick treatment as I am,but still... sad panda.

Between lag and language, why would you want to play with 3 people from around the world? Lesson to be learned here: never ever use Quickmatch, and yes, always host your own game.

Is the server in Russia? I somtimes play with Euros but I'm playing from America; I've always had to join their individual game using the "join game" feature because their serverers are in Europe. I don't think it would let me join otherwise if I was browsing public games.

Here is some explanation, guys.

Most noticeable part of russian online-gamers are *kids*, teenagers. They usually have no respect to others and are (usually) stupid. Please don't think that all russians are like those crazy kids.

I'm russian and I hate to play with them because there is no fun. How can you enjoy the game when other players insulting each other?

My advice is simple: if you detect those annoying kids, just left the game. Let them play together with people of equal mental abilities.

And of course, there is no reason like aforementioned "some russians are very rich".

This is just my opinion based on my russian life experience.
No offence meant to you (only to rude and ugly close-minded teenagers)

ive played with people who speak spanoish and we got along just fine even manged to get a little bit of a stratagy going. But the simplist anwer to your question is that ever country has trolls simple fact of life

I speak russian but only just sometimes but I ONLY speak my own language(armenian) but fond of English UK language but seriously I play l4d2 with russians they insult and being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and just kicking me. I am fine with playing russians but at what cost? I join I hear insults of me and my nation. Even once i joined versus mode there is 1 guy randomly blaming,cursing,hating and insulting ♥♥♥♥ americans.

I made a thread like this before, and it got closed..... I dont think the admins care.... The russians are just the black sheep in our L4D2 community. Blowing off steam, in the only world they have left to control..... I think they just want to vote(kick) really, to have some feeling of democracy

btw: is corporal punishment still allowed in Russia?

It's no russians in the whole it's only some persons with too many hang-ups. I read such things abour germans, britains, americans and so on. There is jerks in almost every nation or community.

Strange I didn't have Russians in my game for a long time ! And when I have them, they speak english and are pretty cool.

I've never had a problem playing with Russians. A Holes yes, Russians no.
