How to make a LOCAL modded server?

I am trying to make a modded server that is local, I have downloaded source and meta mod, the metamod.vdf, and I typed -insecure for the launch options, but it won't work? And how do I add myself as admin?

and to add yourself as admiin in sourcemod, you need to go to your servers files and iin the addons foler go iinto the sourcemod folder, then go nto cfg folder.

fnd the admins_simple.ini

and near the bottom get riid of the examples, and paste this

"STEAM_0:0:14235052" "99:z"

replacing that steam ID wiith your own (if you do not know how to get your ID make a SP game, and type status inito the console then copy your steam id)

If you're looking to set up a dedicated server off your own local internet it's pretty tricky, but to have mods included on a locally hosted server just leave the mods on when you host.
