Is L4D2 versus even worth playing anymore?
I mean over serveral games i've been seeing people get kicked before they even start the round it's because they don't know how to play their role or they don't do what their team assigns them to do , that or people on that team whine like little babies over little things . Like WTF shut up and play you don't have to be serious to play the game and you are discouraging them to play the game.

Agreed, 3k hrs in vs here i have moved on - the cancer growth that is rage quitting or just generally speaking griefing or crashing of servers on purpose if losing, team swapping to winning team before the other team has loaded then votekicking any remaining winning original team members fromt he winning side etc etc etc.

Unless you have 7 other ppl you know that can play the game and lose without any of the above, you may as well go down to the local pub and ask someone to speak about hydrodynamics.

I gave up on it a while back. You can find games where people aren't kicking others left and right but they seemed to be getting farther and fewer in between. I didn't care when people would kick me for no reason, but I can only imagine how it would turn some people off from the game. Sounds like it's turning you off. Try campaign more. It's a lot of fun with randoms.

Versus is just full of competetive people who don't have any other life, just L4D and simular games. You can't judge them, they are just a poor ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s , the only thing that is left for them is the success in the game, cause they have nothing else wich is sad. Be nice to them , they deserve it.

Somebody seems to be a bit "mad" about losing against better players / a better team...

I have noticed the exact same thing, people shouldn't do that to more inexperienced players

Same thing that happened to me on scavenge, they were calling me a noob (I have 60+ hours in the game, I think I know what I am doing) and when I said it is just a game and told them to relax and have fun with it, I was kicked. These ♥♥♥♥♥ were noobs themselves so why are they like this.

I played a bunch of vs games last week. Some of the games were fine, but in a bunch of games I was vote-kicked out for no apparent reason. Around 20 seconds after joining, someone would just say 'kick this guy', and I'd be kicked out.

What's with that? I didn't get any chance to demonstrate whether or not I'm any good. I didn't get any advice or information about what I did wrong to deserve being kicked. And I certainly didn't get enough time to learn or to have fun!

Although vs can be a lot of fun, with the current state of the vs community I don't think it's worth trying to get into.

How many times do you think a player is willing to get called a noob and kicked out before they stop playing? And how long do you think the community can stay active while every new player is being chased out? ...

I mentioned campaign mode earlier. I've made a bunch of friends in campaign mode and occasionally we'll get together for a friends-only versus game. I know this doesn't help immediately because you want to play versus now but if you just make a couple of friends you can get a 1v1 or something going and wait until people join to get moving.

If you have low hours, they will continue to kick you because you dont know where the danger zones on the maps are(as survivor). That, or they expect that your SI skills will be horrible. Such as the other day some kid came in complaining about other players, saying his SI skills must have been too pro. He gets spitter and just before he spawns we get a charger. Rather than waiting for the charger to go in, he just free spits. Immedietly kicked because that was stupid and showed he doesnt understand good or even decent teamwork on SI.

I play only in 10v10 servers, just because they can't votekick and because nobody judge you if you made a mistake... with other 9 players, the mistakes aren't important.

The VS community in this game is terrible.

To counter being kicked constantly, you only need 1 friend actually.
