Mod Installation Problems
Recently, while installing some maps, one of the maps would begin to seem as though it were loading but quickly the progress bar would disappear and I would never see anything of the mod anywhere. This also persisted with other new modifications I tried installing.

I tried verifying game integrity, reinstalling, reinstalling the mods that were causing problems...
At one point, I reinstalled all of my mods: only 6 (a bit under half of them) reinstalled and the rest just left a cover photo in the /addons/workshop directory, but no .vpk files.

Any idea what might be wrong? All feedback is appreciated!

All I know is that after STEAMS big update {Linux/beta/etc...}, I can no longer play the various campaign mods anymore, including that 'EPIC' offering from McDUMPSTER, and his team. I also have an issue with a few skins no longer showing-up in game. I would like to think that all it takes is a simple 're-sub' to the mods, but I highly doubt it.

Right now I just wish I could play mod maps with my friend.

I have tried completely re-installing the game, updating Steam, drivers (internet ones in particular), messing around with my router, changing firewall settings, unsubscribing/resubscribing, verifying game cache...

I also noticed there's a lot of C++ game engine errors (primarily errors regarding pointers, pointer declaration and defining (often referring to &blend(er) being "already defined" ...)) popping up in the console and tonnes of them (just general variable declaration errors and inheritance errors) showing up in-game leading to lag spikes and massive jumps in ping (for everyone I'm playing with, not just me). Meanwhile it keeps ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blood telling me there are missing files and resources (which persisted even after reinstalling, so don't look at me).

These updates aren't quite stable it seems.
