I would go with L4D2.

yeah i'm kind of thinking to get L4D2

Both.

[Edit]
Differences!

L4D2- Co-op and versus modes
KF - Just co-op

L4D2- 'campaign' type maps. One map leads to another in sequence.
KF - Maps are basically standalone. You just fight waves and waves of enemies in one map. (There are several maps, but they're basically static, theres no real 'campaign')

L4D2- Semi-colorful environments with stuff to look at and interact with
KF - Sort of generic surroundings. Can't really interact.

L4D2 - ♥♥♥♥ty, bland soundtrack
KF - Heavy metal

L4D2 - Bleak atmosphere that gets lighter in places, but you might need to occasionally turn on a flashlight
KF - Dark as hell, bleak, dreary, oppresive atmosphere with filmgrain that keeps you on edge

Even though the games are 'similar', they have many, many differences that set them apart.
KF is more dark and goes for an intense, horror atmosphere
L4D2 is more of an action game with zombies and a few horror elements.

I love them both. (..and own both)
Choosing between them is like choosing between parents. :( I just can't do it.

More differences, if it helps -

In L4D2, your enemies are mostly running, screaming zombies with the occasional 'special infected' that you need to look out for. (That you and other players get to play as in versus maps! :D) Shoot enough bullets in thier general direction, and they die. Ammo is everywhere.

In KF, most of your enemies just walk or shamble or hop towards you... but each one can easily kill you if you don't pay attention. You need to aim. Spray and pray will only make you run out of bullets and die. Ammo is scarce and you need to purchace it between rounds. Make your shots count.

In L4D2, your character is only as strong as the weapon you have and how good you are with it.
'Character progression' is only found on certain custom servers.

In KF, your character gets better as you go. You have different classes (Melee, rifles, machine guns, flamethrowers..etc) and each class gets bonuses and perks as you go.

In L4D2, the 'boss level' is basically just the game throwing as many zombies and special infected at you as it can until you die or get rescued.

In KF, the 'boss monster' is a 9 foot tall death machine made of nightmares, dead puppies and ♥♥♥♥ that has a rocket launcher, gatling gun, and can cloak. You're gonna die. Screaming.
...unless your team really has its ♥♥♥♥ together and can cooperate.

I love both games ALOT! But i have personally preferred Killing Floor more. I feel there is more to do and there is a greater satisfaction overall when you beat the patriarch (the boss). Also there is so many more Achievements. Since you seem like this is your first zombie fps co-op title, i would start off with L4D2 first, much easier to get into.

They are both good. I tend to like single player games more than multiplayer, so I would suggest Killing Floor, but if you like multiplayer games by all means get Left 4 dead 2. I own both. Get them while they are on sale. I only buy games when they go on sale.

Depends on your play style for me I couldn't get into killing floor as much as I tryed it just wasn't all that fun compared to L4D1 or L4D2

Both, I once had a guest pass to Killing Floor even though I didn't get into the game as much as I thought I'm going to give it another try.
