Why people get kicked from games
For some reason my discussion disappered and I see more people complaining I will open the same one again-
So after reading a lot of discussions of players whinning about getting kicked or playing against "hackers"
Here's the thing:
You might find yourself getting kicked from the game because-
1. The players need the slot
2. You have low hours
3. You have low hours, fine but you DON'T LISTEN.
4. You do stupid things like spawning miles away or 10 hours before they reach the area
5. Maybe they know you and you are a famous rage quitter.
6. They ASK you to leave and you are being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥, rush or grief
As a player with 3k hours, I have seen pretty much everything in this game.
When I play pub games I mostly play with my friends and I admit, I kick players who don't listen or because I need the slot.
I have no problem playing with new players as long as they listen.
If they don't listen and they do stupid things or they just suck, I'd simply kick them.
And you need to understand, this game doesn't have many hackers!
I play pub games and also confogl, so trust me, I know.
Players simply have skills - if you got leveld as a charger that is not a hack
If you got deadstopped/skeeted as a Hunter or a Jockey - that is not a hack
You died within 1 shot from a player with a Hunting Rifle? please, that does not mean they have Aimbot.
Watch some videos on Youtube or read some guides about how to get better in L4D2
Most of the good players are just like me when it comes to playing pub games with low/new players
Get better and you won't get kicked, communicate even if you don't have a mic you can type and listen to those who know better
Besides, at least 80% of the pub players always rage quit even if they are playing with friends only because they are losing, maybe you should stop this bad habbit as well.

I completely agree.

In other words, Versus kinda sucks as a gamemode.

What L4D2 could use is a Competitive mode like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - matches with equally ranked players and strict rules against ragequitting and teamkilling and such.

To be honest, they should actually do it like in CS:GO and give a 24 hours ban to those who rage quit . But then I will probaby have nobody to play against

1. If you know you'll need a slot for a friend, why not start a friends only game to keep a bot in the slot?
2. If you make a public game, why do you expect someone to go quietly when you kick / ask them to leave for a friend?
3. Not listening is -not- just a trait of "low hour" players.
4. Maybe others know you as a famous rage kicker.
5. If you start a public game and I join in from the start be prepared for me to tk, grief or suicide if you want me to leave after I've spent time playing just becuase you want a friend in my spot.

Telling someone to "trust me I play confogl and/or have 3k hours" means jack diddley. I know a few confogl players and they don't "lower" themselves to playing in pub land.

If I play with friends I ONLY reverse other friends that I see in lobby.
I don't open my own lobbies because of an issue I have with the game.
Besides, I rather look for other players who pubstomp because that's how game is fair. I don't play with my friends against a bunch of randoms - that's lame.
What I said about playing confogl and have a lot of play time was to explain why I know and what I have seen .
If you start a friends only game and wait in game, if other team leaves, no one else can connect :)
So that's why I kick people like you from my game, because they tend to grief.
Once a griefer, always a griefer.
And no, I don't always just kick. I ask first if the player can leave if he doesn't want to leave and he's doing good, I leave the game myself. I don't want to ruin his good game especially if I play alone . Now if I play against a bunch of friends who pubstomp me and other 3 randoms so expect a kick if you play bad and don't listen.

Once when i play L4D2 i whas just playing on my best and i whas playing better than this annoying little kid that said "HACKER BAN HIM!"
than a other said "what hacks?"
The kid answered "DODGE HACKS HE DODGED MY SPIT"
and then he tryed to kick me but then someone else banned him from the server.
I whas like "That whas weird" than a other person reacted "he`s just mad cause you are better than him in this game"

So ya my point of getting kicked something is that players think you hack cause you play better than other.

You realize that that 'low hours' can mean absolutely nothing, right? Especially if the player is intelligent; uncommon, I know, but we ARE out there. Seriously, all kicking just because someone has 'low' hours does is prove you're an elitist ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I'm seriously of the opinion they need to make Infected a tad more forgiving and shift focus onto them a bit. Because let's face it, everyone is in it to play the Infected.

I actually rather play as survivor but ok.
If you read again, you will notice I wrote I only kick if the player does not listen.
I don't judge players by how many hours they got because I have seen players with 2-3-4-5k hours and they really suck at the game.
I have no problem playing with new players as long as they have a brain and they can listen and communicate.

Define rage quit. Because that can backfire if you're not careful. What if they have to leave in the middle of a game? What dictates whether its a rage or just him quitting for lunch or something?

How about when the whole team leaves? :)

You should add that elitist don't have the patience teaching someone willing to learn because public games are always serious business even when stacking.

Most of them, true.
I don't mind helping new players on my team as long as they listen so that's good for me and them
