Things even good players do that annoy you
Nothing annoys me more than when we find health kits in a campaign and someone will heal when they are still in the Green only to steal the health kit while there are teammates in the red and without kits. Then they will only pass the injured player pills or an adrenaline shot.

I dont think I have played a SINGLE campaign in my whole history playing this game where someone doesnt disturb the Witch. Someone will run up going "Okay im gonna crown her" when we could EASILY just walk past her and they end up getting downed cause they cant do it properly.

Players who get mad and scream and yell in Versus games that we need to "attack together". Someone will wait for the other three players to respawn and then they scream and yell "CHARGER/BOOMER/SMOKER WTF ARE YOU DOING GET THEM!!!!! Okay thats it you are getting kicked "

Veteran players rage quitting. People that have thousands of hours, but still screw up the basics. Then they quit & blame other people. Or yell at the new players when they look at their profiles & see they have maybe 25 hours at most.

Good players dont do that, They only do it if there is extra kit, its totally harsh on veteran players.

-Picking up the chainsaw then immediately running around with the throttle wide open, then ditching it nearly empty a minute later at the first melee wep they see

-Recreational bile

-Finding a pipe bomb, tossing it immediately, then picking their molly back up when other team mates don't have a throwable

- Standing in front of a door for 30 seconds shooting far off zombies, creating a bottleneck

-Shooting at the zombies collecting at a thrown pipe bomb (f'ing poachers)

-Vocalization spam

I do this because I get tired of people not listening to me when I'm spamming the 'look' command on a throwable, so I end up having to use the throwables myself. It would help if people actually looked around in the rooms for items.

There is no way to mute these vocalizations. If you spam them incessantly you are nothing short of an imbecile and should be votekicked immediately. If kick does not pass, I will simply leave the game rather than put up with someone who thinks hearing Rochelle laugh or death scream every second is funny or even remotely acceptable. The vocalizations are there for communication purposes and also for purposes of game immersion. Spamming vocalizations detracts from both.

Perhaps if you weren't spamming vocalizations the entire time, your teammates would take you seriously next time when you tell them the location of a grenade.

Its a basic tenet of a proper upbringing called respect. People like you are what ruin humanity.

Video games are meant to be a source of entertainment, not something you take seriously.

Some people take their entertainment very seriously, even if it seems silly to the rest of us.

Honestly, I can agree with the dislike of overused vocalizations. They can get annoying, and can be misleading too - if Rochelle is screaming that she's got a jockey on her, that's time wasted when I turn around to help her. I can also agree that it can be annoying when someone grabs a throwable and uses it, then grabs their old one, when others don't have a throwable (it's even worse when the thrown throwable results in zero zombie kills). This is less annoying if the people who lack throwables don't make any attempt to go and pick it up after being alerted to it.

I do wish Steam/Valve would add a way to tweak the volume of character vocalizations. It can interfere if people are talking, or if there's a special infected coming, etc.

"I don't see anything wrong with this...you should let silly little things that vocalize spam get you upset."

The problem is it really does diminish the game for everyone else. It makes it more difficult to hear specials, horde cues, tanks, and that zombie who is coming up right behind you HOLY ♥♥♥♥ LOOK OUT! Audio is a very important component of the game.

It's petit trolling, and 9/10 times if you ask (politely) for them to kill the spamming, they'll do it more. Valve should look into muting players who vocalize more than x times per minute in public games.

Oh here is one. Players who think Bile Bombs are Pipe Bombs and throw them when we already have a hoard.

The Bile Bomb should be used as a distraction tool especially during a finale when trying to espace. Tossing a bile bomb during a hoard is just going to call another one thats going to come after you after it shortly disappears.

left for dead is suppoed to be fun. once it isnt fun, quit. its not real life. if a game evokes a bad high emotion in you dont play or play something else for a bit and try relax. 1 way to the nut house otherwise.
