Cannot start L4D2
Every time I try and run it, I get the Valve logo, the "Powered by Source" and then... it freezes. I have tried to restart my computer and I made sure nothing was running in the background that didn't have to be. I get no errors at all, it just freezes. Help!?

Verify Files or try reinstalling.
Also make sure your computer is good enough to handle the game.

I actually just finished verifying and it redownloaded a messed up file. Will update if it fails again!

Update: Froze in same spot. I know the computer is good enough, because I have played on here before. I will try reinstalling if need be...

Still didn't work... turned off anti-virus as well.

What's your OS, GPU, and CPU?

OS: Windows 7
GPU: not sure where to check for this
CPU: Intel Core i% CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz
