CAN'T PLAY L4D2!

I stop playing l4d2 for a year.but when i wanna play it today,it run normally,but when i enter the menu,loading into the map,after finish load the map,my computer shut down immediately,after i reboot my computer,it still happening..wtf is going on..

the same happened to me i bought the game a couple days ago i tried verifing the files it wont work. I would contact Steam for support

This happens to me as well, but it's not only on Left 4 Dead 2 the shutdowns are occuring...but i
have figured out the reason which is that my PC get overheated quickly while playing games such as Left 4 Dead 2, Dota 2 and other Steam-games. (I'm using an HP Laptop) It might not be that wierd because i use a laptop but still, i just wanted to share with you what i experienced from playing games on Steam.

Note: When my PC shuts down and i reboot it, i get this error code: Temperature 90D.
