Petition: Run another free weekend for Good Guy Nick
Putting an achievement in that can't be earned unless its a specific time is very aggrivating. Would it be so hard to have another chance to get this achievement, especially if some people have almost completed the list? Sign if you agree and maybe we can have another chance.

You know what else is aggravating? Yet again increasing the number of little kids jumping into higher difficulty games, mic spamming and raging because you want to show off to your friends just how much of an achievement ♥♥♥♥♥ you are. The last free weekend shot this game in the head and left it in a coma, another free weekend would kill it.

Then remove the achievement at least. Yes, the free weekend attracted idiots, but that's just what it's for. To attract people. Also, keep in mind that it's only for 2 days. The majority of kids won't be able to buy the game, and the people that do usually turn out better than the group as a whole.

I wouldn't have bought the game if not for the free week-end. I think it's a good idea, especially on a game that you won't "complete" over the week-end.

I'm all for showing people the beauty of Left 4 Dead, but a free weekend brings out sooo many newbies, several of whom want to jump right into the multiplayer fray without first learning for themselves what to do and what not to, and where to go. It's incredibly frustrating when all you want to do is play a game and not have to run everywhere saving everyone.

Out of about 40 ppl who i know play l4d2 regularly, not one of us could stand the free weekend, after it we all appluaded the fact it was finished.

Scenarios :

Noobs join, we carry them they cotinue to run off and die never listening to advice then when they know the game is out of reach or the fact they have to wait until the other survivors die they leave (rage quit) and leave the game to die with "Not enough players to continue" occuring constantly.

They get on the game talk crap and start team killing because they are either bad at the game or just jerks.

They suicide on purpose because as i heard quite often "I want to play infected, i don't care about survivors" - the irony here is when the scores are yet again one sided they still rage quit due to scores.

No one kicks them giving them a chance to feel the game out and hope they mature over time and stay on with the community, but low and behold some ppl cannot tolerate their attitudes and vote kick them - guess what they then come on here and whine about the kick function...

You know the saying that trolls use "Are you mad?" - i know think yes their mad, their mad because their bad and im sad because their bad.

This, a thousand times this.

I owned this game on 360 before I played it here. If it wasn't for the free weekend, I never would have played this game again. Now It's back on my list and I'm having fun again. I'm not saying it's perfect.
A. It does make valve money.
B. Some people actually try to learn.
C. If 2 days of noobs is too much for you, then you either have no other games to play, or you are over sensitive. It's not like theres a record of wins or losses. If it bother you that much, get some friend stogether so you have a full team. Then you don't have to deal with it.
