Non-Logical kicking/banning.

I am sick and tired of these people kicking/banning me for no reason. there are like 10 servers i have been PERMANENTLY BANNED from BECAUSE THE PLAYERS ON THERE DON'T IKE KOOL-AID, <my name>. There NEEDS to be ban/kick filters

The problem when dealing with the stupid people that abuse vote kicking is that stupid people like you are the ones having a problem. Those idiots can only permanently ban and kick you at will if you play on those idiots' servers. Open up your console, type in "status" and if it's not an official dedicated then you should leave, otherwise you're substantially increasing your chances of being kicked and or banned by the idiot in charge of the server/hosting the server.

tl;dr - stop playing on best available dedicated and local servers and block any morons you run into on official dedicated servers.

He is playing on official servers, he is getting kicked and when he tried too rejoin it says he is banned.

The op is a derp and doesn't realise that it is temporary is all, you cannot always blame custom servers just because you want to, with a name like that i guess i shouldn't argue with stupidity righ?

If you're coming at me with the name thing, the irony is sad but by the way that post sounds, I'm sure I struck a nerve when talking about the idiots that host non-official dedicated servers. Anyway, the reason I didn't think they'd all be official dedicated (if any at all) is because he says he's been banned/kicked from so many servers. He's put his profile on private and he probably plays with vs. tards but even when I purposely sabotage tards in other modes, getting kicked from so many servers seems unrealistic. Then again I've never seen the level of stupidity of vs. tards in-game so I may be wrong.

When you try to rejoin a server you were kicked on by players it says user is banned, he probably means that.

No i don't care official or non official it is all down to the individual, not the type of server you play on. I can say on official servers with no admins all sorts of crap flies as the users have no one to penalise them for being jerks, where as i find on non official servers with mature admins who don't take kind to jerks the game is more fun as the jerks are on official servers behaving like they are entitled too be jerks because they paid for a game.

my experience is, most people don't bother to set up a game for friends only, so they invite friends but random people get put there for quick game. then they act all crazy because you joined. as soon a I see the kick vote pop up I leave anyways.

Wow. Really? I it's not that hard to set it to Friends Only in lobby options. If the lobby leader made the mistake of setting it to Public Game, then it's there own fault. You should not have to be kicked for someone else's mistake Necrosis.

@ Necrosis99, I couldn't agree more, I join random games for a little zombie killin' and sometimes get kicked for no discernible (to me) reason. And I don't really give a F-U-C-K, I just leave and join another game.

Even if its their own fault and they kick you, to hell with them. Find another public game or play with your friends, whatever just move on.

I read this entire thing and all I learn so far that stupid people who have an ego call other people stupid. Surely common sense is lacking in the gaming community.

Finally, someone realises i have been BANNED and cant rejoin the servers to this day.

If you get kicked from a game, then you are temprary banned until the game you were kicked from is finished. You should be able to connect to different servers. I don't think you were banned from L4D 2, since I don't see any account suspensions and / or VAC bans. Try in the lobby and set it to Official Dedicated before you start the game. You should be able to still play on a different server.
