Honestly most anime chars look terrible in the game since they clash horribly with the art style. Anyway I doubt anyone on this forum is going to just randomly take requests.

Yeah without the background being adjusted to a little more brighter models and thus creating more of contrasting atmosphere-the anime models will look pretty much lame. The only good thing is that the normal zombies actually look like the zombies in the anime so you really don't have to do anything to them.

I have no idea how to make models, if I did I'd do it. But I think an idea would be to make the models based on cosplay ref pics instead of Anime ref pics. I'm not saying pick a particular girl/guy cosplayer and make it just based on them, but wouldn't using a real world reference point instead of a cell shaded anime character make it fit into the world more? Not only would the style suit, it would also help deal with the horrible colour contrasts.

Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Anime fan, my life revolves around the stuff, but unless the whole game was overhauled to look like an Anime world, the characters would need to be done in a way to fit the world.

I'd think of a mod that used more realistic versions of the characters as simply a different style interpretation. Kind like the jump from Guilty Gear to Guilty Gear Xrd or the original Fist of the North Star series to the 2000 version of Fist of the North star. The visuals would be different but they'd still be the same characters....if that makes sense.

Man I really wish I knew how to do this stuff myself, but I just don't have time. But the same concept idea could be used for any Anime character really. I think there'd be people who are like “That's not anime! It's real!” but I think it'd make for a better experience like this.

Well, that's my 2 cents anyway.
