The Steam servers are too busy for your request for Left 4 Dead. Error Code (15).
Hi all, does anyone have a solution to this error? I just bought the game 2 days ago and hasn't been able to install cause of this problem. Please advise me! Thanks!

Change the download region should fix it. Try Germany>Frankfurt. Had same problem and directing to there fixed it. Should be others too, but i know this region helped me, hope it helps you.

I am having the same problem. How do I change the region?

steam > settings > downloads > download region

but more recently I had the same problem with Bioshock Infinite (also via Steam), and changing the region didn't work.

The solution I found was to completely disable firewall and antivirus devices until that installation thing was complete. Try that if the region trick fails ;)

I tried the above methods and the problem is still persisting. Keeps saying that the Steam servers are too busy to handle my request.

I fixed the problem. I found that Anti Virus Programs such as McAfee or Norton, etc. actually cause this problem and interfere with updates. I would try and try to start the game and would keep getting this error, then I would go into McAfee and turn off Real Time Scanning and run the game again and it would work perfectly. Then when it updates you just turn Real Time Scanning back on again and it works fine. This happens every time there is an update for the game and disabling Real Time Scanning and then re-enabling it works every time for me. Hope this helps.
