Please kick / ban following abusive player.

Hi,

Here are the following abusive gamer username that I got:

ID: clanxxxrocks (also known as "Are you on crack"?): Shooting team mates and support the the room admin to kick me, admin name "♥♥♥ & ♥♥♥♥".
ID: 76561198028343520 (also known as "♥♥♥ & ♥♥♥♥): Abusive player and using inappropriate words on game (insulting everyone on this game).
ID: 76561198080250052 (also known as Morgie): Kick players including me, because we were good at scoring.

I'm not sure if it's prohibited to post username on this Discussion, but I don't see any other way... If you want proof, just check my game account records, and you will find proof.

Call me a idiot or whatever you like. But I really don't like people abusing or kicking others for fun and I'm not the only one as far as I know. I know they are kids, but aren't that prohibited for age under 18?

I have using steam for 3 years with my another account, and spending a lot on games, and I mean alot! but if there are no other methods to kick them or ban them, I'm afraid I won't buy any games from you anymore (Valve or Steam) because this cause me anger and depression, and that's not my intention on gaming... because I thought gaming means "Enjoying".

I have also tried to click the "Report" button when reviewing a profile... but the profile of the following abusive player still exist and have not been banned yet.

You can try blocking these people and you'll never be in a game with them again. Also, you may report community members using the Report Violation thing on their profile page, but unless lots of people report the same person nothing is usually done about it...as you've seen.

Go with blocking them. It's worked out pretty well for me.

I didn't know that, I thought the "block" button was only for chat or communication block for steam and not the game.. In this case, I gonna block each abusive player next time I play! thanks 2point4! :)

But I still hope steam or Valve will kick/ban these following abusive player where I mention above...

I don't know which games this works in, but the feature is called "Co-Play". For sure, though, I know it works in at least L4D2 and CS:GO. Hopefully it helps your situation out. It did for me.

Welcome to the real world, where not all people are nice and sweet. Just simply kick them out or join another game.

Now this takes the cake. The problem there is 'THOUGHT'. Not everyone shares the same thought on how gaming should be. In cases like r*tarded noobs (not newbies who are willing to learn) trolling other players, such gaming is negative and it is mostly frowned upon in this community. I don't want to be mean or anything but you sound like a spoiled brat, whining to his mommy that ignorant idiots should just die for bullying. Although, I'd like to agree to that but the world doesn't work that way.

Just ignore them and you'll be fine.

And are you threatening valve that you'll stop buying games from them just because of this? I don't see how one opinion matters a lot when there are millions of players buying valve games. I have rage issues worse than yours but to stop playing awesome games like these because of idiot-players, is just so absurd.

Sure, no ones shares the same thought on how gaming should be, but I assure you that there are many which shares the same thought. And as I said, those "idiot" players (as you mention above) really getting me to my nerve. Sure, "The world doesn't work that way" but we can prevent it.

I was a little depress when I started this discussion. But, my impression on Valve and Steam. Is that they should improve this issue. Sure, I'm just one individual who tries to complain on something that won't make any differences. But at least I did try it.

And for now, I'm using the methods what 2point4 mentioned :-), and I hope I won't see those abusive players again!

BTW, I'm not sure what happens, but it seems that steam or valve did ban or temporary ban one of the abusive player! :-)
