Engine Error

i start the game normaly i see the intro video but when its finished i get the error saying "steam is not running. You must start steam in order to play this game."
Steam is running normally and all well can somebody help me over here ......

i was wondering if you had any luck with geting this fixed? i am geting the exact same thing -_-

Try running steam.exe in higher priority and do usual things such as cache check. Add -novid to your start up settings as well. I suspect a steam .dll file to be missing/corrupted in your game folder.
