Is being more noob than bots a good reason to votekick?

Of course votekicking is never nice and I refrain from it as much as possible, I'll usually (rage)quit instead of votekicking. I've been on the receiving end also, but its rare and there's USUALLY a good reason, like refusing to save allies in campaign mode (I just get bored sometimes and want to rush) or they are making room for their friends in versus/campaign mode.

By votekicking these players, your chances of winning or surviving are higher even if no one replaces them. And for versus mode, steam tracks your win/loss ratio, and by not votekicking, you are directly hurting your win/loss stats.

Maybe valve should take away the l4d2 versus win/loss ratio, then players would votekick slightly less in versus.

Is the guy who is playing poorly asking questions and trying to reach out for help from his teammates? Then no kicking. Is the guy running off and being retarded while being a cocky individual and yelling? There goes that guy, kicked. Stats are broken, you are doing something wrong if you care about them. Otherwise I agree, that it's better to have bots than very bad players, specially in realism.

Get a server, kicking automaticly bans from current match, blocking (most ridicilous feature) will prevent them from ever joining a game even if someone is inviting them.

I dont want to have to vote if I am running a local server, Just kick or ban what ever sonabiatch starts mic spamming or team killing.

If you are running local, you have full administrative rights to the server, including kick and ban. What's the problem? If you are unable to use console, get sourcemod.

Actually I would prefer giving them a bad rep than blocking them, its unlikely that I will see them again anyway. I never block anyone, even if he enters my expert game and team kills.
