This Game really needs a Random Campaign Setting
I've got about 300+ hours on this game and after about 250 hours I kinda got bored, sure I keep playing but I feel like after awhile maybe we should have a setting when creating a campaign lobby to have the game randomly pick a campaign.

Single player / coop is not where the fun is, at least not for long time. Once you have made it through all the campaigns, it does get boring since it becomes repetitive. However, Versus and Scavenge offer a lot more fun in the long run (seeing that you only oplayed 10 versus games, maybe you should give it more chance). Yes, you do play the same maps/campaigns, but the dynamic and the challenge is never the same since you play against humans and not dumb AI and since you have to work as a team both infected and survivors in order to kill survivors or make it to the saferoom. You never know how the game will end (who will win or lose) and there is a lot more strategy and tactics in VS or Scavenge than campaign/solo. The fact that you can play as infected adds a lot more to the game, in terms of game strategies overall. I have over 1100 hours and I still play this game and enjoy it, mostly because of Versus.

This kinda goes for all games. Single player is always boring after you finished the game a few times, but multiplayer is more competitive and challenging, and every match is different which makes it almost impossible to become boring. At least, that is how I see things.

If you are really into single player or coop and you are not a "versus" kind of person, I think there are plenty of add-ons campaigns and stuff that you can download and play.

2 years later....yet you do not even have 100 hours in this game...if you are bored after playing less than 100 hours of L4D2 then maybe this is not the kind of game for you.

After going through regular campaigns, play community-made maps? That's what I do besides Survival and I've made it past 1337 hours. :P

I would like to have a random campaign option that chooses add-on campaigns too. That being said this game is a boring pos, but it's addictive, If you haven't gotten into community campaigns, you shouldn't even have the ability to call this game boring yet. Once you've exahusted all the 80+ rated maps/campaigns on L4Dmaps (at least 200-400 hours worth of campaigns), come on back then call it boring.
