Xbox 360 controller not working with L4D2...?
Having something of a minor technical issue - L4D2 doesn't seem to register the 360 controller, even though the controller is set to "Enabled". Movement from the left analog stick is accepted, but none of the other buttons nor movement from the right stick is accepted.

I could go into the game controls and manually set the buttons, but then I'd lose my keybinds for when I'd rather use the keyboard and mouse. Plus, y'know, I shouldn't *have* to - the game is supposed to support the controller out of the box. Attempting to "reset" the controls to Default makes no difference.

I'm not having this issue with any other Source Engine title. It's literally just L4D2. Even L4D works fine. Any suggestions?

Ah, no, never mind. Fixed it by disabling controller support, then re-enabling it. Have fun everybody!

Under Mouse/Keyboard settings. Near the bottom, about two-thirds of the way down, is an option labeled "Gamepad Support". Here's what i did:

1.) Start a game.
2.) Pause the game, go to the Mouse/Keyboard settings and disable the controller.
3.) Unpause the game, then pause it again.
4.) Go back into the Mouse/Keyboard settings and reenable the controller.
5.) Done!
