Chopper comes immediately at finale?
Playing L4D2 versus on No Mercy. Start the finale. Chopper comes instantly. Same thing on Dark Carnival. The server was an official Valve server with no mods. Anyone else getting the same thing?

I've heard of it occuring before, seen it occur in realism campaign on Crash Course, seems to be a pretty rare bug.

I THINK that it might happen if the score difference between teams is so high that there's no sens for the winning team to play the finale. That was the case the only time it happend to me

No. When I played there was only a score difference ofabout 400 meaning anybody could have won. It's only been happening recently though. Weird.

Been happening on realism expert a lot too, Hard Rain, The passing, bridge wont go down, Death Toll, boat arrives at beginning.

This never happened to me on the PC but it has happened occasionally on the xbox version for No Mercy.

It happened yesterday, a friend and I were playing Dead Air, we start the pump, and the ramp lowered, we were running around tanks for a good minute or two before we saw it.

This has happened to me twice today and once earlier this week on different maps (Death Toll and Blood Harvest), different servers (both were Official Dedicated no mods), different players. Was playing co-op campaign Advanced difficulty. On both occasions the team took a while both getting to and starting the finale event while we searched for pills etc, though I don't know if that's relevent.

Symptoms: The escape vehicle starts its approach as soon as the finale event is started, a tank spawns, and so does a never-ending horde. At least I think it's never-ending - the games didn't last long enough to see the horde end or if another tank spawned when the first died.

I can't recall this ever happening before in about 600 hours of playing L4D2 and about 300 of L4D1...

Edit: It just happened again on Dead Center this time. When the elevator reached the bottom the music started playing which normally only plays when you've filled all the cans and are making your way to the car. A tank also spawned and there was no break in the zombie spawns. We didn't survive long enough to see what happened when all the cans were filled...
