How do I save a game in the solo campaign when Steam is in Offline Mode?

I denied the installation of an AddOn during first installation. Is it possible, that this is the AddOn that allows offline-mode-saving?

There is no saving. L4D wasn't designed to be a single player game. Single player portion of L4D was an afterthought.

I reinstalled l4d2 already, but didnt get the question if the addon should be installed.

No clue. Don't even know what you're talking about when you state that you denied the download. No such option was given like that before. But then again it's been about 2 years since I've installed L4D2.

Stuff in the addon folder is stuff you install yourself, custom campaigns get thrown in there. Valve just started hosting a single custom campaign called Warcelona on all their servers, as stated in the blog, but I doubt that's it because it says to download and install it manually. (or maybe they just added a new feature to the installation process, and you denied the download of Warcelona? http://www.l4d.com/blog/

I don't think it's warcelona. Steam keeps saving all the stuff on its server, but doesnt save anything local when I close the firewall hole. Anyway. There is no fun in gaming anymore, with all that online crap. =( Good for me. Saves time and money. =) Thanx for your help.
