Is it still worth getting Left 4 Dead bundle?

Since a lot of content from L4D1 was ported to L4D2.

Does somebody know if it has any use to get part 1?

Personally, Yes...The community is 90% better on L4D1 because it's NOT full of little kids who suck at the game. And the game can run pretty well on most computers, L4D2 tends to lag alot for me. I also enjoy the lack of annoying special infected in L4D1....Jockeys and chargers are annoying...Especially when they knock you off the map with a single click and no effort. L4D1 has a darker feeling and will ACTUALLY use teamwork to play.

Nope. Do not waste your money. L4D2 has everything from L4D1 (maps and survivors imported). Game came out in 2009 and uses Source engine, if you have a normal computer (like me) it should run fine. No need to have a big machine.

I'm going to guess that you DID NOT read my previous comment... The maps are not the same at all....
Animation, Performance, Special Infected, Gamemode, art, ect.
It's all diffrent...and personlly L4D2 is the worst L4D...

Neal .. if its bloody cheap.. BUY IT .. if u don't like it, DON'T PLAY it .. Never played L4D but most of my mates said there is NO NEED to get it if u have L4D2 .. YOUR CHOICE, mate :) .. Just HAVE FUN!

Hey thanks for the feedback folks. Seems Left 4 Dead 2 is the overall better package contentwise. Guess i will tell my friend to get Left 4 dead 2 ASAP.

Left 4 Dead has a better community but that is because of the veteran players still lurking in the servers haha. If you are playing with friends i guess L4D2 is the better deal.

Considering the only "community" left in l4d1 is either tryhards or noobs, and the tryhards for the most part have been playing too long to teach noobs anything, it's not worth it for a new player to buy it. I agree the mood and feel of l4d1 is better but the community isn't there, sorry.

More mods (Maybe we would have more mods if valve didnt kill the first one)
2 x more maps (including those from L4D1) [Terribly ported maps and killed off the first one]

Well at least it isnt full of kids...I have only played about 2 hours of L4D2 and only encounterd kids so far.

God....Sometimes I wonder if you can read....I have said multiple times already that I had L4D2 on the xbox for YEARS and played it every single day.
