problem with prima stratgic guide

i got a problem with the guide.
I try to acces it since yesterday and i'vo got a login page where i can put my username, mail adress and password but it don't work.
Is anyone had this problem and solve it ?
I have no response from steam about this :/
Soory if my english isn't good, i'm french.

u acutally bought the stragic guide hahahahahahha lol, the game is pretty simeple gameplay dont need a guide

Hey Neo,

Did you manage to get your subscription working at "http://left4dead2walkthrough.com"?

I bought the PRIMA Strategy Guide a couple of weeks ago and I think I have the same problem.

When I click on the Left 4 Dead 2 "Guide" link from my Steam library, I am sent to a Login page at "http://left4dead2walkthrough.com". The website does not recognize my Steam username or e-mail address. It does allow me to "Sign up" as a new user. But when I choose a username, password and enter my e-mail address at the signup page and press the "Continue" button, I get this error => "Cannot use FREE payment plugin with the product which cost more than 0.0".

If you have managed to get access to your guide, I would appreciate it if you let me know how you went about it.

If I manage to access my guide, I'll post back here with details of how I got it to work.

@ Bikes -> I'm sure the guide is horribly outdated for you with your 64/69 Steam achievements in Left 4 Dead 2. But I just started playing this game a week ago & I could really use some pointers.

I've had a look at PRIMAgames' advertisement (http://www.primagames.com/games/L4D2/primaguides/68) for the guide, where they let you access some bits for free and it's all new (and useful) stuff to me.

Did you get the guide yourself? Do you remember what you did to get into their website?

I don't mean because I'm good, but just as in the game has been receiving patches for like 2 years since that guide was made. As far as I can tell they don't update that thing so yeah, a lot of the information is probably wrong at this point.

plus steam has guides (so does the internet in general) which are probably far more up to date and free.

You are right about the guides on Steam -) thanks. They should keep me busy for a while. I am new to Steam & had not gone through the Guides & Workshop tabs yet.

But I did buy the PRIMA Guide, so I'll keep trying.

To solve my problem i don't remember exactly what i did between reinstall my game or steam, but after delleting and installing again one of them the guide was again availlaible.
