Any pro-tips?
I find myself kinda bad at VS and I always play against the winners. I could use some survivor tips and infected tips. Any lead?

Here's a few from me.

1. Watch some videos online that give you tips on what you should and shouldn't do. Trust me, I felt a bit lost at first until I buckled down and did that.

2. Play with friends. Playing with randoms puts more strain on you, as you are unsure of the skill level of the rest of your team, and they could compromise the victory. Now I'm not saying avoid jumping into random games outright, but if you can, play with people you know. They will be more forgiving.

3. As Infected: Utilize a chaotic situation! This one is a biggie, a sudden horde can prove to be invaluable. It can allow you to separate a Survivor from the rest of the party, making them easy pickings for finishing off. The Survivor party getting Boomed is ideal, as this obscures the vision of the party, and by the time it clears, you can easily have an incap or kill they can't recover from. And if you can put heavy pressure on the survivors outright from the start and keep it on them, you keep the points earned to a minimum.

4. As a Survivor: Stick together. You see the person/people next to you? They are now your best friends and your family, stay with them to make it more difficult for a target to be chosen. Stragglers and Rambo-types are easy pickings for the Special Infected, and will leave you a man down. Headphones can and will help you out, utilize your hearing to figure out where an opposing player may be coming from. And a biggie: Learn the maps. If you know where choke points are, and where you can possibly be instantly killed, you can be that much better in avoiding potential deathtraps.

I'll let someone else add on what they know, I'm not exactly a pro at Versus, and these are a few things I learned myself.

Survivor:

1- Be a team, you cant win alone in versus, nobody can, so you need to work as a team, the top priority is the team, always remember that: help your teammates, stay close and try not to friendly fire

2- If a special infected appears
Smoker: one of your teammates goes first and you close to his back if its a smoker, watch out if its a hunter or jockey, because they can push you back delaying the rescue of your teammate and causing him to lose more health
Charger: separate a little, because if it chargesthe 4 survivors, the one being crashed will lose more health, dont disperse too much in case of a horde or any other special infected
Boomer: the team must spot him inmediately, in some cases, they spawn in the roofs, so be careful
Spitter: same as boomer
Tank: sorround him so you can keep shotting it while he goes for 1 survivor in the case you all separate, be careful, because the other players will try to get the most separated survivor. Try to
launch him a molotov so he dies quickly, be careful with cars and containers, because those incapacitate you in 1 hit

Infected: try to get (if theres one) the teammate who runs in the map by his own, these are easy to kill, because they cant be helped if they are too far from the team (some players run when theres no chance to save others) and try not to be suicidal, dont spawn too early, know the opposite team (their paths, the weapons, etc) use the hordes and tanks as benefit, because the survivors will be in an extreme situation with less time

Jockey: when you get someone, you can ride him to a ledge to incapacitate him, a witch or tank (careful, friendly fire its not deactivated in vs, so the tank can kill you in one hit)
Smoker: attack when the survivors arent alert, if the survivor you are attacking is saved, you will have 1 or 2 seconds of unhability to move, so you are an easy target unless you are in a roof and nobody has either rifles or assault weapons, if there s one survivor left, you know what to do
Hunter: Dont jump over a survivor if he s with his team, because the team will kill you in 1 second, you can take advantage from the boomer, because of blindness you can attack the survivor with low chances to counter attack (push you while you are going to land on him)
Boomer: try to spawn at a specific time in an area thats benefit, you only have 50 life so dont waste it unless you had vomitted the survivors, when you vomit, aim the mouse up so it can reach more distance, then try to attack with claws or if they push you, keep confronting them, because if they push you, you are losing health, in a moment you will explode and corroid the other survivors who arent corroided
Spitter: block their paths with the prymary attack, or spit an incapacitated survivor so you can delay the rescue leaving a chance to the other players, in case of horde, they will hole up in a corner, spit there and they will split up and maybe end incapacitated
Charger: the most useful infected of the new ones, you can charge surivors over abisms and kill them instantly, leaving a hole in their team, you can charge the 4 in a row and throw the other 3 survivors away delaying the rescue.
Tank: use the rocks when you know you can hit them, because you are getting exposed to gunfire and molotovs or gasoline cans. sorround a survivor in the corner and dont let him escape, dont waste time trying to kil the incapacitated ones, the goal is incapacitate the whole team, and use the cars because they can incapacitate in 1 hit.

Plan with your team the strategies, stay together and well, survive XD

Well, Boomer and Charger has a delay when you spawn and I can't seem to get a charge at anyone and as a boomer, they are all seperated but still close but not close enough to get more than 1 or else I will be in ghost mode trying to find a spawn forever.

There's loads of tips and tutorials on YouTube if you look around. You might find watching this four part video helpful:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yaw9G-wvgXA&feature=plcp

It basically outlines some key points in survivor play. You might pick up some stuff that you didn't already know.

If you're looking for help in terms of the Special Infected side of VS, then you should have a read of this:

Early warning; there's quite a lot to read. I'm sure you'll find some videos on YouTube if you need some form of visual representation ^^

If someone tells you they are a confogl pro, do the exact opposite of everything they say.

Make sure you find people who don't bicker at a small mistake then kick you out, I've had that happen too many times.

As an infected, it is tough to find a way to practice with them, but it just take a while. When you have played as all the playable special infected, find the one you can play as best, for me that would be the Tank, unfortuntly i rarely ever play as it.

Already did, just not on PC.

A thing I often do when playing survivor is distancing myself a little from the others, but still staying fairly close and in sight because if someone gets jumped by a charger, hunter or jockey, everyone close by gets "pushed" back and loses control for a few seconds.

By keeping a bit of distance, like staying more to the side but not falling behind, I've found that I can often very quickly save a team mate fast enough that if I get jumped too, I will have at least freed one of my mates and increased our chances of recovering from an organized attack
