is there any way to play uncut in ger?

Download 'Left 4 Uncut' (google it).
All you do is start 'Left 4 Uncut' then start 'Left 4 Dead'.
Im in Australia and the game is completely censored here. This fix allows us to play fully uncut.
The fix is not a game hack or anything so it does not get you banned from Steam.
It works a treat!

Real question is how long have you been using it. If it's more than 12 months then it's probably safe.

Sofern du eine uncut-Version erworben hast (z.B. in USA, Östereich etc.), kein Problem. Aber, bei uns ist der Vertrieb der uncut-Versionen verboten, d.h. hier in Deutschland wirst du nie eins kaufen und daher uncut zocken können.

downloade dir left4uncut (bitte über mozilla sonst holst du dir viren), ich benutze ihn selber, er ist kostenlos und ich bin sehr zufrieden damit er funktioniert übrigens auch bei left 4 dead 1 ingame ist der patch nicht nachweisbar, da er nur das spiel am start auf ein hohes gewaltlevel umschreibt viel spaß damit ^^

Left4Uncut works for both l4d1 and 2 and you can't get a VAC ban. People use it since Left4Dead1 and nobody has been banned for using it. That .exe closes right after you start left4dead.

The only workaround I've found myself (tested with killing floor but not l4d2) Is to have a friend who lives in an uncensored part of the world buy the game and gift it to you. That allowed my german friend to get uncensorred killing floor, not sure how that'll work with l4d2
