No melee weapons on Pinion servers in L4D1 campaigns

Since a week, in the campaigns of the first L4D we can't find a single melee weapon to pick up, but only pistols and magnum.

I know most people gonna say "it's ok because in that way is a more close experience to the first L4D game where there's no melee's and just pistols and magnums", but not having melee's with the new A.I Director working, who controls more hordes and more zombies in the screen at the same time, makes the gameplay in these campaigns a bit annoying.
Pls Valve, do a call to the guys who runs the most of the servers for the game and tell they restore the original scripts for the maps, pls :/

I had that problem the other day as well. It made The Parish ungodly difficult. This is why Pinion should not be handling Left 4 Dead servers. They're awful.

This is so ridiuclous. First mods wont work and now no melee weapons?

Open the console and type openserverbrower. When the browser opens, sort by name and go to "V". Find Valve Left 4 Dead Official Servers and get 4 or 5 IPs close to your location. Start a lobby, open the console and type mm_dedicated_force_servers followed by one of the IP's you got from the server browser (e.x.: mm_dedicated_force_servers 146.66.154.161:27040) and hit enter. Start the game and enjoy. Bye bye Pinion.

EDIT: The IP I wrote is from an Official Server located in Luxembourg, so Euro ppl feel free to copy/paste it to your console.

Today I noticed the problem is for all the campaigns, no matters if is a L4D1 or 2 campaign, its a Pinion Server issue. Damn Valve, pls do something to fix this... Chet? are you there? :)
