Game not loading properly

Ok, I have lots of mods and Pinion servers don't let me see them so when I tried to play Blood Harvest (Haven't tried it with other maps yet) on a best available server it loads a tiny bit then the loading bar goes away and I can't get out with using ctrl+alt+delete. I don't want to get rid of my mods and I am on the screen at the moment and it hasen't budged. Would i still be able to play multiplayer by choosing local server? If you know what to do please help. Thanks.

Most mods (other than simple reskins) won't work unless you host a local server, probably the best available servers you're trying to connect to have sv_consistency turned on so whatever scripts you might have won't let you connect. Running a local server should work fine.

Thanks, I have found that hosting local helps.

Certain servers allow custom stuff, other doesn't. It's not that they don't load "properly". Some servers deny addons to be loaded.
