Left 4 Dead 2 - Long Sword Error Showing

Hi, I have a problem with the long sword. I start a survival game with the map Dead Center. When I look at the long sword I see an error. When I pick it up it works fine. Can this be a bug? I reinstalled the game and deleted the Left 4 Dead 2 folder.

There's about 3 threads on the exact same topic, look next time.
I don't think a solution has been found yet, though many people believe it's because of pinion servers.

Most of people wonder about the Katana, but it's only a mere mistake from Valve. Not the servers. ERROR sights such as this one are texture/models missing files. Next update of L4D2 should include those who are missing. Meanwhile, i think remplacements mods of the Katana can fix it. Only on servers that allows addons tho.

Katana is prefectly fine for me and everyone I know. It's not Valves fault.

You don't seem to realize that it happen to make mistakes, makes me wonder if you ever played a custom map with an incorrect version of the game. You would understand my statement better. Katana is the longsword and it's having a problem with the world model. If you could see someone grab and use it that'll make you realize it, i'm not the only one who's saying that neither.

When I verify game files then host a server the texture looks fine but when I restart the game same thing error

Nada, Win7Ult here. Clean resintall. And I didnt see it my last round, but Ive seen it twice today.

I freshly reinstalled the game other people have this issue too you know
