Where can I find the weapon configurations?

I searched through my whole Left 4 Dead 2 folder, but I can't find the txt. files or any other file where I could change the configs of the weapons in the game. I know in Left 4 Dead 1 it was in the script folder and when I tried to search for Pistol it only showed me the pistol sound files. Could any one please tell me where this config files are? I just want to increase the clip size of the pistols, magnum and uzi.

I believe they are in the pak01_dir.vpk file in the Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2 folder. You'll need GCFScape to open it.

Ok, I can open the files and also can edit them, but whenever I save the changes and close Notepad that stats of the weapons are getting resetted to default and the files are not write protected. I also tried to the change them with this Workshop Manager, but when I drag and drop the pak01_dir.vpk file there I only can upload it and not edit.
