Conflicting files you say?
Yo Applejaaaaaaack, I got two mods, one for the chrome shotgun and one for the pump action shotgun. They are completely different weapons but the game warns me they have conflicting files. I wonder, does anything happen if I have both of them active at once? The game doesn't want me to have them both, but they are completely different weapons :(
Surely the file confliction wont matter right? Right?
What say you?!

No seriously though, I've done it before and nothing happened. Those Valve devs trolling us.

I have conflicting files for those two weapons as well. My pump-shotgun retexture conflicts because it covers both shotguns, while the other one only retextures the link. Nothing bad will happen, although if I was to take the chrome shotgun texture off, the pump-shotgun texture would cover both. Check your scripts, you may have the same thing happening.

You'd be better off creating your own thread tbh.
As far as what you're asking... I honestly don't know if it's possible, unless you edit the mods yourself, or get in touch with the author(s).
