Workshop weapon skins/ custom sounds won't load on some servers?
Sometimes when I join a pub server, my Workshop stuffs won't show up. Is there a way to keep this from happening?

Addons are not supposed to work in online matches, but sometimes they do. If you click addons and read what it says at the top, it says to choose the addons you want to appear in SINGLE PLAYER/LOCAL SERVERS. Again they're not supposed to work online, depending on if they do is just luck of the draw.

Thanks, Luigi. But I think Valve should upgrade it so you can use it online as well. Or at least in my own opinion.

uhhh no. you are outright wrong. Maybe you are new to modding on l4d2, but then you shouldnt talk. To OP, you can use your mods on any server that doesn't require consistency. Those that do require consistency are called pure servers. but really nowadays, there are nearly none that are pure.

There is a difference between a pure server and a consistency server.
A pure server will simply enforce vanilla gameplay no matter what mods you do or do not have installed.
A consistency server will kick you if one or more of your files does not match the file(s) on the server.

The OP's problem is with pure servers, and sadly there is no way to specify a non-pure server.
