Low-Poly skin models for Survivors/infected?
I was wondering if there was a such thing as "low-poly" mod for this game. I would like to get my hands on it to slightly improve performance when a lot of zombies come at me.

Is there one available for the game?

Yeah, go in the options menu, and lower the graphics. I can't see why you can't figure that out by yourself.

By low-poly, I mean something like the N64.

or are you an obvious troll?

Why would you want N64 graphics on an old game? And is your PC THAT laggy? Hell, I can run Far Cry 2 at 20 FPS at a good graphics setting, and my computer is made for home uses (mainly because I don't want to pay for a 3.4 million dollar super computer that needs to be upgraded every nanosecond like everyone else)

It gets real laggy when I see a lot of zombies coming at me. I figured less polygons could do the trick. I already have it low, but I'd like to see if there's anyway to get it lower if possible.

Are you using a $1 piece of cardboard folded in half and coloured to look like a laptop for computing, or a potato battery, a micro SD card, and a piece of tape for a computer? Because that is the only things I can come up with that can't run L4D2 at lowest settings.

No. It's like a toaster, but I can't seem to toast things with it so I try doing some other things with it instead.

Well, I suggest buying a cheap ($500) HP home computer desktop for a "baby's first gaming PC" as I like to call them. As they can run almost any game that is $10 on Steam, and can run most $20 games at lowest settings at a good FPS. I can run GTA 4 with a little bit over a small amount of lag, and guess what? Lowest settings. My advice while playing PC games: Run your games at lowest by default. So you can run them at a good pace. If you feel that you can run them at slightly higher settings, play around with the options to see what you can make with them. Personally, I don't mind not having pretty graphics on a newer game, as graphics don't make a game, gameplay makes a game. Hell, I can play Trials Evolution at a good pace, so does Far Cry 2, and even Half Life 2 and Garry's Mod.

I'm planning on getting a new home computer desktop very soon, but for now I am stuck with a toaster, and I wanted to give L4D2 a try. I got it playing on some certain maps without it dropping it to single digit fps all the time.
