Left 4 Dead 2

Left 4 Dead 2

Zobrazit statistiky:
Australia now has a R 18+ rating.
As the title says, Australia now has an R 18+ rating, I've even seen R 18+ games being put on shelves and even seen an announcement for The Walking Dead being sold in Australia now (it was banned before).

So my question, is Left 4 Dead 2 still censored? Has Valve uncensored Left 4 Dead 2 for Australia? It is the one thing that stopped me from buying this game. When you shoot zombies they disappeared before they hit the ground and when you killed them with explosive bullets, it would just delete them with no explosion. Or even you set the zombies on fire; the fire was all censored out.

So I ask, is Left 4 Dead 2 still censored for Australia?

If they have not then they should really get on to it.

Yes it is still censored.

For it to be UnCensored Valve would have to resubmit the game for classification. I don't know whether or not they've done this.
In January, Valve said that that they are 'definitely' interested in doing this - and that the cost is not an issue for them.

But that was almost 3 months ago. I'd like to hear an update on this. I've been holding off on getting back into this game in the hope that when I do start playing again it will be the R18+ version.
Valve, it's now over 8 months since we got the R18+ rating approved. Any comments on what's happening with the uncensored version of L4D2?
I just played my Left 4 Dead 2 in hopes to see if it wasn't censored...It still is...Now this being said, it is highly unlikely Valve will do anything at all...Chances are you'll all have to mod the game perminantly like I will be doing, the program I was running "Left 4 UNCUT" is no longer working it seems.

Just another let down on Valves behalf in 'only keeping TF up to date with endless updates' and leaving L4D2 out of the loop. To be fair they shouldn't have presented the censored version to us in the first place.

So all in all, we won't get a gore packed game because Valve just couldn't be bothered. It's been well over a year and still not a damn thing.

After Saints Row 4 and South Park: Stick of Truth, I have given up on us Aussies getting uncensored games.

What do kangaroos taste like?

Similar to wallaby. Good for stake burgers. A bit stronger flavour than beef.
Okay im coming over, prepare the kangaroo burgers

Hopefully if they do that for you guys they wont force you to re-buy the game and only give you the files that are needed to put the gore back in the game for you guys. Cause you are missing out on alot of fun having the game censored.
Because Valve doesn't have the time. They are to busy making hats.
They prolly ran into a legal roadblock, due to the fact changing a rating on a product you already sold would see a tonne of ppl lining up to say "i didnt want this gore" or such
I think a better question would be "Why is Australia so strict with censorship?"
IT'S ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BS THAT'S WHAT IT IS
If you guys want gore then just use Left 4 Gore, then you can play the game uncensored
