clam the hell down, host a server, invite some friends and play, problem solved
I know what you wrote isn't for all PC gamers. You can find some good people in here. I made some good friends here. Just find people who don't take these games too seriously ( avoid kids / teens who think being good at CS/L4D is going to help them get a good job later in life ). Find mature friends and play with them ! Good luck.
Didn't convince you? Oh well...

I only read the first link, but it was obviously a troll or nerd baiting article. A bunch of the things it listed wasn't even PC exclusive problems.
Your parents would buy you a good gaming rig for your birthday =|?
I suppose, mine cost me a grand and my parents would never buy that for one occasion xD. (Albeit they did pay for some of it since I had to quit my job after my winter break and they wanted me to stop mooching off my brothers comp since mine was broken)(/living at home while going to college)
This guy got kicked so hard, he's going from PC back to XBOX so that he can continue to have fun insulting nerds who play video games while he plays video games...
Stick with single player games man, they're way less stressful. If you can't handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen.
