Server Filter needs to be added!

I'm getting more and more frustrated by the lack of control and availability there is for finding Vanilla servers. Yeah, yeah, some people like XPM servers or other modded servers, but what ever happened to the real game? You can search for Official servers, but half the time, you simply get redirected to a third party server or some rented server with mods out the ear. I don't care about aesthetic mods like new characters, weapons, sounds, whatever. I am sick to the teeth of coming on and expecting to play a nice competetive game of L4D2 and finding nothing but "for whatever awful effect, type !xpm" popping up every time i join.
Valve, for goodness sake, help the core gamers with a filter so we don't wind up in those modded snoozers!

Can't agree more! I stick with creating lobbies on Official Dedicated servers, but I know for many custom maps, you have to try your luck with best available or local host. Just never ever use QuickMatch!

What this game needs is an 'Allow joining servers with modded games" checkbox option. No reason this should have to be a 'type some stuff into console to get a dialog that should be GUI enabled'. I too am frustrated with this.

If you're after a competitive game you can use sv_search_key "confogl"; to find competitive servers. Although confogl and all subsequent configs are mods, even if they are geared towards balance. I'm guessing you're just after vanilla versus though, in which case, just ignore.
