L4D2 Consistency Crash - HELP
9 times out of 10 when playing Versus, I can play through the first level just fine. However, when transitioning to the second level of any campaign, I freeze at the loading screen and am kicked after a few minutes because the server is "enforcing consistency for file-" and then some random filepath, usually a model. This has only started happening recently.

All of the friends I play with use numerous mods, but they can play on the same servers I'm on just fine. However, even after unsubscribing from every possible conflicting mod, even typingi n sv_pure 0 and sv_consistency 0 in the console, even hosting a lobby myself, I always, ALWAYS get kicked out when loading the second Versus campaign level. Always.

Does anyone know what's wrong? It's obviously not a mod issue if my friends, using more Workshop mods than me, can play through entire Versus games just fine, but I can't even make it past the second loading screen.

Also: I've reinstalled the game 4 or so times, even got a new PC lately with an entirely fresh hard drive, no files from my old computer were brought over at all, but I still get the same damn issue. I've also tried hosting Locally, on my own server, sv_pure and sv_consistency turned off. Still has the same issue, even in Campaign.

Have you tried using older drivers?

Does it only do it in versus?

Only in Versus and online campaign.

Take ALL your add-ons out of the addon folders, uninstall the game, re-install it, run it, close it immediately, and run a cache integrity test. Don't question it thinking you already did similar stuff, just do it. If it still doesn't work, play on your own local server I guess.
