Animation issues on Windows 8.1 Pro
Game was working with Win8. After applying 8.1 I have been experiencing leg animation issues with player and NPC on both survivor and infected. Check out this link for actual gameplay http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ox6PzxO1rI

It doesn't and has never crashed nor do I experience mouse lag.

Open to helpful advice, "Get Windows 7" is not helpful as it does not have Hyper-V.

Thanks in advance.

No, no, no. I am not trolling, sir. I am offering you my good piece of advice: Get Windows 7 (unless you have a touch screen, which I doubt seeing how uncommon they are for desktop usage).

My I educate you on Hyper-V and Windows 7.
What is Hyper-V and why do noobs want it when windows 7 works perfectly. Well, Hyper-V allows you to run virtual machines. Why do you need virtual machines? To run domains, servers, clients, practice SCCM, install SQL, exchange, active directory, dns, dhcp or even open dodgey software all without affecting my local machine. Imagine being able to run several win98, xp, vista, win7, server 2003, server 2008, server 2012 machines all at the same time on the machine you are reading this on... Well guess what, you cant. Why? Windows 7 does not support Hyper-V. On certain Windows 8 versions you can enable it. Sure I could use Xen Desktop or Vmware workstation but those virtual solutions will not help me learn Hyper-V which in my case is relevant to my job, they can also cost a lot of money. Maybe you will understand why I have 64GB of RAM or a machine with only SSD storage; of which one can perform 120,000 4k IOPs and transfer 1.3GBs read and write: perfect for database transactions, snapshots and backups. I choose hardware for this task. Heck I think my virtual environment will be faster then the one installed on the tin. So the solution of "Get Windows 7" is not reasonable in my case, thus stated in my initial question. I have windows 7 on 3 other machines in my house, MS gave it to me for free before it was released. In short I value my career in IT over gaming. It is not the solution, but thanks.

Hey, I've recently upgraded my PC (which came with Windows 8) to Windows 8.1 and it proved to be a major mistake. What I experience now in L4d2, although not as drastic as the video above, is the annoying lag often. It's not mouse lag or whatsoever, more like graphic issues; animation wise. I played L4D2 before I upgraded (on Windows 8) and it was perfectly fine. Have you had your issues solved? Perhaps you could share the solution to it? Thanks.
