L4D2 and OS X Mavericks
I just moved from Mountain Lion to Mavericks yesterday (with an iMac late 2012) and I notice a drop in video performances (FPS, fluidity...). Am I the only one ?

There are reports from Aspyr (Mac game developer) and others that there's a driver issue for Macs with nVidia GPUs that results in a decrease in performance. Likely Apple will fix it before too long, but in the meantime, that's probably what you're looking at.

Since the last release I've noticed that upgrading immediately to the next OS X is a good way to find oneself getting screwed. I lost a Mac-built password safe program and had to buy VMware Fusion again. :-/ I wish they would do the OS update every two years instead of one so I don't have to keep running out to check all the paid-for software and see whether I have to pay for it again...OR something breaks for good. Screw that.

I have this problem too. Keyboard and mouse input are seconds behind now, it used to run pretty well on 10.6.8.

Same. I also have occasional crashes now under Mavericks that never happened during Mountain Lion.
