Annoying sound mods on workshop and what an author says about it
As we know there are too much sound mods in workshop and they are 99% tagged wrong (of course they tag it as a compaign -_-). So I decided to write a critic to sound as a noob:

"I tried to play this campaign, but it didn´t worked. Then i searched for campaign in Workshop again and found it. But the campaign didn´t worked again (112,5 MB=> it must be a campaign, I didn´t anything wrong I thought). THEN I SAW IT´S JUST A SOUND MOD. SO WHY DID YOU TAGGED IT WRONG?????????????????????????????????????"

And what did I saw the next day? He deleted this post.
So I write another text:

"m-w-o-b Vor 3 Minuten
Why did you deleted my last post? You are a censor of bad critics!!:
""I tried to play this campaign, but it didn´t worked. Then i searched for campaign in Workshop again and found it. And he answers:

"The Crazed Bu[TT]-Stabber [Autor] Gerade eben
"MAN I CANT DELETE THE CAMPAIGN TAG OKAY THIS IS A BAD CRITIC NOW SHUT UP ARE U SERIOUS MAN THIS IS NOT MY FAULT GO MAKE YOUR OWN ADDONS AND SEE""

So is it true you can´t select the tags of the workshop files? I don´t think so. I opened the workshop manager and saw that you can select each tag or not.
So what can we do to stop the useless tags items on workshop?

Yup, the workshop is clogged with horrible music mods. As for the Crazed Bu[TT]-Stabber, I am familiar with him/her and I think we are talking' a ten year-old here.

It is true that in the workshop interface (just using Steam) there is no place to modify the tags (like you can easily modify the description or visibility). Or if there is it's hidden so well I can't find it.

However you can totally change the tags. You add tags when you upload your files with the Workshop Manager. So just re-upload the file, and you can change the tags in the same interface. Clearly using a program you had to use before, is too much for some people.

Sadly there is not much the community can do about bad tags.

I got some mods but I think it's pretty saddening on seeing how people who make hud mods, or melee mods tag "survival" as one of their tags.
don't know if it's because they are re-tarted or just think advertising everything in every tag would make their stuff popular.

Probably a combination of both. The workshop has made it incredibly easy for people who have no idea what they're doing to release ♥♥♥♥-tier mods and spam them everywhere via the campaign and etc tags; so much worthless drivel is being promoted this way. l4dmaps has an equal number of morons, but at least there are mods and etc present who will keep sound mod crap out of irrelevant tags.

when I had uploaded my mods I look at other people for example I couldn't really decide what to put them under since so many where tag differently for the same things but I made sure to reupload them correctly if someone tells me I put them wrong

If a mod is good it should only need one or two tags to be popular.

I have come to the conclusion that most people who use the Workshop to either upload or download files are not the sharpest knives in the drawer. If users were allowed to moderate the Workshop and not just outright report things, it might be a nicer place to work with. As it stands, you're still better off finding mods in L4DMaps.

Thanks guys for your approval.
It looks bleak for the workshop and probably we can nothing do. But we can use L4Dmaps to find good mods.
