A mic is useful but it definitely doesn't make up for lack of awareness (not saying for you, anyone in general).

What Dustin said. Really experienced players don't need a mic to communicate, partly because they take care of themselves, and partly because their teammates are aware enough to not require constant voice use. You have 39 hours and probably aren't really in any position to demand mics.

I have a mic but i'm not very good at expert. Thought with good teamates I usually do pretty good.

Mic is not required in Expert games. Just pay attention to where your teammates are and to the characters chat så you can hear them warn about SI and when they find pills/molos/pipes/defib etc for you to bring along. Also keep an eye on what equipment your teammates have.

add me i usually play advanced campaign or realism. but i still appreciate a good team on any level. just don't play loud and awful music in the background. i jsut finished a game where the guy was advertising how he likes alternative rock from 2 decades ago and it was just ♥♥♥♥ing sad.
